Live Miners ("we", "the Service") helps Facebook Page owners who sell through Facebook Live track which viewers claimed which items by commenting "mine" during a broadcast. This policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how to request its removal.
When a Page owner connects their Page to Live Miners, we request the following permissions, used strictly for the purposes below:
We do not post, message, or otherwise act on a Page owner's behalf. We only read comment data on content the Page owner already controls.
For each comment that looks like a purchase claim, we store:
We also store product photos and pricing information that the Page owner uploads directly to their own catalog, and a shared access key used to authenticate the Page owner's own dashboard and capture app.
Some commenters' names or profile information may not be available to us at all, depending on that person's own Facebook privacy settings — in that case we store "Unknown" instead of a name, and never attempt to obtain it through any other means.
Stored comment and claim data is used only to let the Page owner review, correct, and export their own claim records. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond operating the Service for the Page owner who connected their account.
Only the Page owner, through their own private, key-protected dashboard, can view the data associated with their Page. We do not provide any public-facing access to comment or claim data.
Data is retained for as long as the Page owner's account remains active. Any Page owner, or any individual commenter who wants their stored comment/claim data removed, may request deletion at any time by emailing mark.anthony.rivas89@gmail.com. We will delete the relevant records within 30 days of a verified request.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date above.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to mark.anthony.rivas89@gmail.com.
